Campbellsville University, a private liberal arts institution with
enrollment at approximately 2,500, was founded
in 1906 and offers 40 undergraduate and 10 master degrees, plus the University
opened a nursing school last fall, with a new building. The
School of Music offers recitals, concerts and operas throughout the year. The
Theater Department presents three to four plays during each academic year. Many
well-known speakers address University forums open to the general public. The
Campbellsville University Orchestra has over 55 members and offers
many concerts during the year.

within a 50-mile radius are Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Centre College
in Danville and Elizabethtown Community College in Elizabethtown. The University
of Kentucky and the University of Louisville are just 90 minutes away.
